TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to Tempo.co (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), a site dedicated by the Tempo Inti Media group (Tempo Magazine and Tempo Newspaper), to meet the public’s need for independent, accurate and reliable news.
The rules for using the Service will be guided by these Terms of Service. By accessing and/or utilizing all features of the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any future amendments.
The Service Manager reserves the right to make any changes to the Tempo.co Terms of Service, effective upon publication, at any time. It is the responsibility of Service Users to periodically review these changes, which are binding on them.
The Service Manager reserves the right at any time to change, delay, or remove any part or feature of the Service, including but not limited to the availability of data and/or content. This includes the right to limit Service Users’ access to certain parts and/or features of the Service.
SERVICE USERS
Service Users are all individuals and/or parties who access and/or utilize all Service features. Service Users consist of:
- Registered Service Users.
- Service users who do not register.
Some features and/or services on the Service can only be accessed by registered Users.
Users who register for the service are required to provide valid and legitimate registration information. Service users agree to be fully responsible for the registration information provided in the registration form and to release the Service Manager from any liability for the registration data and information provided by the Service User.
By registering, the Service User agrees to comply with and be bound by the terms of the service accessed.
Service Users in carrying out all activities in the Service are required to comply with and obey the provisions in the Terms of Service, applicable laws and maintain norms and ethics, including:
- It is prohibited to include and issue statements and/or depictions which include but are not limited to harassing, insulting, degrading and offending ethnicity, religion, race and inter-group, gender/sex, physical condition/disability, certain institutions/groups, pornography, obscene/rude words and other things which are not in accordance with ethics and norms of living in society.
- It is prohibited to carry out actions that violate Intellectual Property Rights, including but not limited to plagiarism, unauthorized copying/piracy, forgery.
- It is prohibited to upload or forward from other parties in the Service, materials that according to law and other related regulations contain violations of criminal or civil law.
- Registered Service Users are required to update their data if there are changes to the data and information listed in the registration form.
- Users of the Service, when carrying out activities using the Service, are prohibited from spreading slander, fake news, carrying out activities that are prohibited in the Republic of Indonesia, or inciting hatred against certain groups or groups.
- It is prohibited to carry out activities in the Service that can spread viruses, trojans and/or other computer programs that can disrupt, damage or stop the Service process.
DATA AND INFORMATION
The data and information presented in the Service are public data and information and some data and information are protected and subject to provisions regarding Intellectual Property Rights and other legal provisions related to the dissemination of information.
TYPES OF DATA AND INFORMATION
Data and Information obtained by Service Managers from Service Users is Data and Information that is differentiated:
- Data and Information obtained from the registration process.
- Data and Information obtained from the Service User upload process.
- Data and Information obtained when Service Users carry out activities on the Service.
Data and information submitted by Service Users in the Log-In process will be treated by the Service Manager as data that is not shared with the public and will only be used for the benefit of the Service Manager.
DATA AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
The Service User hereby agrees to grant the Service Manager the right to manage and process Data and Information from the Service User for the benefit of the Service User.
The Service User agrees that the validity and legal validity of all Data and Information submitted by the Service User are the personal responsibility of the Service User. The Service Manager is not responsible for any Data and Information submitted by the Service User, whether directly or indirectly, whether submitted openly in public or privately to the Service Manager.
The Service Manager has the right to edit/change, edit the content, organize and layout all Data and Information, including but not limited to written form, photos and images for the purposes of journalistic ethics, norms and aesthetics.
The Service Manager, based on a court order and/or law, has the right to submit Service User Data and Information to the authorized authorities, if the Data and Information becomes evidence in a criminal offense.
